The registration for WORK2023 conference is open.

Early bird fees are valid until 15 June 2023 after which regular fees apply.

The registration deadline for presenters is 15 June 2023.

Onsite participants

The onsite participant fee includes:

  • attendance in the scientific programme at the conference venue 23-25 August
  • access to the virtual conference platform and its materials
  • coffee and lunch on the conference days as marked in the programme
  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 23 August
  • Conference Dinner on Thursday, 24 August.

Due to the limited number of places in the conference dinner, there is a limited capacity for this registration type.

The onsite participant reduced fee includes: 

  • attendance in the scientific programme at the conference venue 23-25 August
  • access to the virtual conference platform and its materials
  • coffee and lunch on the conference days as marked in the programme
  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 23 August.

Note that the reduced onsite participant fee does not include the conference dinner.

Virtual participants

The registration fee for virtual participation includes access to the scientific programme through the virtual conference platform and its materials.

Student fees

Student fees apply to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students. Please present your student card/certification upon arrival to the conference or attach a proof of your student status on the registration form if you participate virtually.

Methods of payment

1) Credit card payment

On the registration form, choose the credit card payment and fill in the payment card details. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*

2) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only)
On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*

3) E-invoice (for Finnish organisations only). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added.
An e-invoice will be sent to the e-invoicing address provided. Terms of payment: 14 days net.

4) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). An invoicing fee of 15 EUR will be added.
A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail address after you have submitted your registration. You can also download the PDF invoice to your computer after submitting your registration. Terms of payment: 14 days net.

Please make sure to give a correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to a wrong address, or otherwise modified).

All payments must be made in euros (EUR).

*Paytrail Plc (FI2122839-7) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the event organizer. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organizer.

Change of the participant

At any time after registration, in case you will be unable to attend yourself for any reason, you will have the opportunity to send a colleague in your place at no additional cost. In such case, please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible: info@aboaservices.fi

Change from virtual to onsite registration

If you have initially registered as a virtual participant, you will have the opportunity to switch to onsite registration at any time by paying the difference between the virtual participation and onsite fees applicable at the time of change. Please contact the conference secretariat for further instructions: info@aboaservices.fi

Cancellation

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to info@aboaservices.fi before 15 July 2023. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

In the event that the conference must be changed to a fully virtual conference (online only), the difference between the paid fees and the online registration fee will be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.

In the event that the conference is entirely cancelled by the Meeting Organisers, or if it cannot take place for any reason beyond the control of the Meeting Organisers, all registration fees will be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.
